61 on Dec 3. want to retire in mexico after one more year here. don't know where. non-touristy, quiet. find a small house I could remodel and enlarge. maybe Veracruz area or ? like art and writing, no golf, no cards. i need to be doing something.

i want to retire in mexico on 1, 000 per month. someplace quiet: small fishing village? art colony? I like to build things, remodel houses, work with wood or steel or masonry. I like a garden. hunting for ideas. i have one year to figure this out.
